Endaoment Joins The Blockchain Association

As the nation’s only onchain community foundation, we know first-hand the importance of engaging with lawmakers to illustrate the unique value and impact that crypto and blockchain provide. This week, we’re pleased to share that Endaoment has joined the Blockchain Association, a 501(c)(6) membership organization organization that represents the collective interests of the crypto industry in discussions of public policy.

The collective voice of the crypto industry

The Blockchain Association works with its members to educate policymakers about blockchain technology and its ability to pave the way for a more secure, competitive, and consumer-friendly digital marketplace. By becoming members, we hope to advocate and advance a forward-thinking agenda for policymakers and regulators working on digital asset adoption.

This membership bolsters our ability to reach out to leaders at all levels of government, and allows us to leverage the expertise, resources, and partnerships of the association. Today, we join hundreds of the industry’s most reputable protocols, investors and companies to help advance the future of web3. We’re excited to be a more vocal part of the conversation promoting blockchain technology and its positive use cases.

Education and advocacy by example

The crypto space is ever-changing and filled with valid concerns about fraud, volatility, and regulatory challenges. However, we also know that Endaoment is a powerful counterexample to these narratives, and we cannot sit idly by and allow our story to told by anyone other than ourselves.

Aligning ourselves with The Blockchain Association creates a direct channel to share the incredible impact that our community of donors is having across the world. By building a community foundation focused on widespread, diverse impact backed by transparency, decentralization and ethical business models, we facilitate a fundamental use case for the financial system of the future.

More to come

We’ve been lucky to partner with the Blockchain Association on events and programs around the intersection of crypto philanthropy and policy over the past few years. Expect this to continue!

Our next collaboration is the free, virtual State of Crypto Philanthropy Summit on June 28. Marisa Coppel, Policy Counsel at The Blockchain Association, will join leaders from across the industry to shed light into the evolving policy, community engagement, legal and fundraising challenges in the space. We hope you’ll join us!

Onwards and upwards,

The Team at Endaoment
