As our platform has evolved over the past three years, we often hear from our donors that we’ve built a more efficient and more enjoyable giving platform that should be open to users of all kinds, regardless of their blockchain background, wealth or experience.
Today, we're unveiling a renewed, more inclusive Endaoment, no longer limited to digital assets alone, but still deeply rooted in onchain transparency and tooling. We’re call it Endaoment for Everyone, and with it, we're opening our doors this giving season to donors from all financial backgrounds.
To us, this is a renewal of our commitment to empower the internet’s generosity, and an opportunity to increase philanthropic throughput, transparency and accessibility for the $230B+ donor-advised fund market. We can’t wait to hear your feedback.
We’ve drastically lowered the barrier to entry into the world of onchain giving. Now, with just a click, you can sign in using your Google, Facebook, or Discord account, bypassing the need for a crypto wallet or web3 know-how.
Signed in users can create a donor-advised fund (DAF) on Endaoment for free in minutes, with no minimum donation required. It’s an easeful, user-friendly experience for all donors, regardless of their familiarity with blockchain technology. We hope you’ll to try it out.
This new sign in experience is powered by ZeroDev’s architecture for account abstraction, where a social account is used to generate & connect to a unique wallet address for each user. By leveraging the latest in Ethereum engineering (paymasters and account abstraction alike), we aim to showcase the industry’s considerable advancements in scaling and usability.
Thanks to our recent deployment on Base, we’re able to generate all the same onchain interactions that power Endaoment currently, for free, and without forcing users to interact with wallets.
We've also expanded the kinds of donations we accept natively in-application, well beyond just Ethereum based assets. Today we’re launching four seamless new ways to give to the causes and organizations you care about using Endaoment.
Donors can quickly and easily give cash via credit card, bank account, or your favorite providers like Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App, and PayPal thanks to a new integration with Stripe.
For stock donations, we’ve linked up again with our friends at The Giving Block to automatically instigate new stock transfers from your existing brokerage. Stock transfers are automatically instigated through our app when donating from one of a dozen U.S. brokerages including Fidelity, Schwab, Etrade, Wells Fargo and our hands on donor services team is ready to help with transfers from most registered brokers.
Converting what was once a manual process, we’ve now fully integrated our over-the-counter (OTC) donation service for non-Ethereum based crypto assets or NFTs into our in-app donation wizard, further simplifying the process to donate any token on any chain.
Lastly, if you already have a donor-advised fund at another provider, transitioning to Endaoment and upgrading to onchain giving is now quick and easy. We provide all the instructions and steps to migrate directly in our application. Feel free to migrate at any time, making multi-DAF management between service providers seamless as well.
We couldn’t be more excited to these improvements to onboarding new donations and exisiting donor-advised fund capital into the Endaoment protocol. We’re delighted with how these turned out, how easy they are to use, and our plans for making onramping even faster in the coming months.
These enhancements are a result of meticulous input, planning and development from the entire Endaoment community. Thank you for all your feedback and involvement as we craft this institution from the ground up.
As we broaden our horizons with Endaoment for Everyone, we remain committed to continuous innovation and advancing the charitable giving landscape with an internet-native community foundation.
Later this fall, watch for an expansion of available portfolio options to provide a more comprehensive suite of traditional assets for donors to manage and grow contributed funds.
This expansion will offer a diversified range of investments such as index funds, market funds and equity funds to align with varying risk preferences and financial goals. We look forward to expanding our committees and board of directors to help continue scaling and decentralizing our governance and asset administration.
Lastly, we’re excited to be providing fund access to multiple users or financial advisors in the near future. This initiative aims to ensure our donors can have the necessary community, resources and expertise at their disposal to make informed recommendations about their charitable contributions and fund management.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to improve and enhance our platform, and please feel free to share your thoughts in our Discord, or by email: partnerships@endaoment.org
